Aloha e Connie, Thank you so much for the serenity your teaching has brought into my life. I wrote you several months ago to order your cards and book, and I mentioned that I was doing a presentation on Ho'oponopono for my halau in Berkeley. During the presentation, I gave the information about your web site to my hula sisters. Thank you for the wisdom you share in the book. Reading my cards brings me so much peace and joy. They've become an important part of my life.
Me ke aloha,
Suzanne La'akea BrileyGot the Ka Hana Pono book from a dear friend. What a beauty-full gift, to pick such a book up from the post box, while one is running not to miss ones daily routine. Such refreshing, soul calming, moments are hidden within them pages. Lovely, compassionate simple tools. Nothing too new. Nothing one did not know (or under-stand) earlier. Just warm hugs in the middle of the day, reminding one is loved, empowered, and with so much compassion around, one cannot help but spreading it on. Thank you for the cold water showers, and the warm hugs, just when they are needed.
Mahalo, namaste and much aloha.
Rebekka, NorwayWe participated in the wonderful Ka Hana Pono workshop you facilitated on the Big Island from December 29 through January 5, and we feel totally transformed. The work of all the other practitioners-- the alaka'i-- was also exquisite. All our needs were attended to, from taste buds, to body relaxation and play, to emotional support, to the highest spiritual nurturing. Never before have we experienced being so cared for and honored. We were brought to a new experiencing of our bodies, minds, and spirits. The environment you created by literally pulling all of us participants and practitioners together allowed us to accelerate our spiritual growth almost effortlessly and truly enriched our lives.
Mahalo and aloha,
Jan Gillanders, Judith Haldeman, and Helen KaganI wanted to give you a few words about how meaningful my experience of our class was and how much I am appreciating the space you so beautifully created for us. I believe I discovered a very significant and hidden part of myself during your class. Ka Hana Pono is changing many of my less-than-useful life habits. Not because they "should" be changed or that they were not okay, but mostly because it is so easy to change them. The Ohana space that all of us created together generated a deep and lasting Aloha for me for myself, and of course from that space it's so much easier to extend that Aloha to the whole world around me. It's very hard to accurately express the impact that being immersed in an ocean of "deep regard" for seven plus days has had on my perspective.
