"If it could be figured out in your head, you'd have done it already.
You gotta do it another way" ... a Hawaiian elder.

This is the first thing the kupunas (elders) told me when they began to teach me "another way". Ka Hana Pono is a pragmatic and exhilarating spiritual practice outlined by a group of Hawaiian elders who helped me learn traditional Hawaiian healing methods to treat what the Western world calls "illness."
Only they say there is no illness, just disconnection from spirit greatness. They showed me how to "reconnect" by training me to direct my thoughts and emotions in specific ways, according to an ancient belief system - Pono - through the use of simple, direct tools I could apply 'right now' to my daily life.
Ka Hana Pono is an eight week directed study course in the use of those tools. It covers both the belief system of Pono - the philosophy of individual greatness - and Ka Hana, the practice, the how to' direct thought and emotion away from disharmony and imbalance, and toward spirit greatness.
It's a very pragmatic study, not just of the ideal of harmonious living, but a practical 'how-to' guide for maintaining harmony in daily life. The focus is mainly on the practice, the tools used to make change.
There are eight sessions, during which you will learn to work a set of 49 cards - memory tools to use daily. Each card you draw is a tool directing you toward things you can do in the moment, in any situation. By developing skills to reconnect you to your own personal power, you train yourself to move through life's experiences in Pono - not victimized by illness, stress or anything else - and live a life of spirit greatness.
